INGREDIENTS
4 large croissants, torn into pieces
1 cup diced ham (or cooked bacon)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Swiss/Gruyère)
4 large eggs
1 cup milk
½ cup heavy cream
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional, for extra flavor)
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
Layer the croissants in the dish, followed by the ham and shredded cheese.
Whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt, pepper, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder in a bowl.
Pour the mixture evenly over the croissants, pressing down slightly to soak the bread.
Let it sit for at least 10 minutes (or refrigerate overnight for a richer flavor).
Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
